The latest Android phone from HTC is the HTC Tattoo
The HTC Tattoo is the latest development of android mobile phone from HTC. It offers a clean and simple design, with sleek lines and minimal buttons. It offers a wealth of features whilst still retaining its air of sophistication and user friendliness. The phone is 106 mm x 55 mm wide whilst being 14 mm thick. The handset weighs 113 grams. The phone comes with a 2.8 inches TFT touch screen. The screen is 240 x 320 pixels in size and displays 65,000 colours. Images are shown with excellent colour representation and clarity of picture. The touch screen uses the Sense user interface, which is an intuitive and effective means of accessing functionality within the phone. The addition of an accelerometer sensor to auto rotate images to their correct aspect is a welcome one. The phone comes with a 3.15 mega pixel camera which operates at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The inclusion of auto focus ensures that image quality is aided by this feature. The camera is able to take good quality images and the images are of sufficient resolution to enable them to be printed out when required. The alternative of video recording is available on the phone, through the camera. Internet access is provided by the HSDPA and Wi-Fi which offers speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. The elements of GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, Blue tooth and miniUSB ensure the means to connect to a multitude of devices and share files and synchronise with other devices. The phones GPS function comes with A-GPS support and offers satellite navigation. An MP3 player as well as an MP4 player is included for musical and video entertainment. The players will play the majority of file types such as MP3, eAAC+, WAV as well as MP4 and WMV9. The phone comes with internal memory of 256 Mb RAM and 512 Mb ROM. The HTC Tattoo utilises the Qualcomm MSM 7200A 528 MHz processor, which is an excellent processor whilst utilising the Android operating system called Cupcake. Very similar in some ways to the HTC Touch Pro 2 in looks and functions, this phone is destined for greatness.
